All our food is prepared on the premises, using only the freshest ingredients, locally sourced, free range or organic where feasible.

The White Hart Hotel dates to 1470 and is centrally located in the heart of St Albans within minutes of the excellent shopping centre and main tourist attractions.

The hotel has seen many historic events during its long life. Simon Frazer, the 11th Lord Lovat stayed on his way to be become the last person to be beheaded in England.

St. Albans has been a settlement from before Roman times and provides many fascinating places of interest.

The charm of the White Hart lies in its architecture that has been largely preserved in its original condition. Guests are attracted to the hotel by its individual and historic appeal and therefore should not expect the same stereotyped room specifications of the multiple chains.
